Care tips for your corset
- Dry cleaning recommended for structured corsets with boning
- For light refreshing, wipe with a slightly damp cloth
- Air out your corset after each wear to release moisture
- Avoid any machine washing which would deform the structure
- For sizes 42-64, be sure to completely unlace before removing your corset
- Store flat or on a padded hanger, never folded
- Rotate your corsets if you wear them regularly to extend their lifespan
- Hand clean only.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Allow to air dry naturally.
- Store flat or hanging to preserve its shape.
Usage tips
- Before first use, plan a "breaking-in" period of 2-3 hours without fully tightening the lacing
- To put on your corset, completely loosen the laces and open the front clasps (busk)
- Place the corset around your waist and close the front clasps from bottom to top
- For sizes 42-64, wear a thin cotton shirt under the corset for more comfort and to facilitate putting it on
- Gradually tighten the laces starting from the middle, then the top and bottom
- Use the "X-lacing technique" for an even distribution of pressure
- Never tighten too much during first uses - aim for a waist reduction of maximum 5 cm at the beginning
- Breathe normally - if you cannot, the corset is too tight
- For optimal comfort, limit the first wearing sessions to 2-3 hours
- Gradually increase wearing time and tightness over several weeks
- To remove the corset, completely loosen the laces before opening the front clasps
Loosen the back lacing completely before putting on the corset. Close the front zip first, then gradually tighten the lacing until you achieve your preferred level of support.
